Man robs bank in Roseville

Roseville police are investigating a bank robbery on Tuesday evening.

The incident happened at Christian Financial Credit Union on Gratiot near I-696.

A man walked into the bank and gave the teller a note that demanded money. According to police sources, the man claimed that someone “had his kids” in the note and he needed the money.

He got away with $6,000 in cash. The suspect then left the scene in a Lincoln and had a child in the back seat.

The driver was later arrested by Warren police shortly after the robbery. The money was recovered and his child in the back was okay.
