Detroit police are investigating after a retired cop fatally shot another man during a landlord-tenant dispute.
The incident occurred in the block of Kentfield, near Evergreen & Grand River on the city’s west side.
According to police, a landlord-tenant dispute led to the landlord (retired cop) fatally shooting the unarmed tenant.
The victim’s family said that he arrived at the home with his wife when they noticed all their belongings inside a dumpster outside. When they went inside to see what was going on, the retired Detroit cop fatally shot the victim during a dispute.
