Video captures suspect firebombing car at Detroit postal office parking lot

Detroit police are searching for a suspect wanted for a firebombing outside a postal office.

On Thursday, at around 1:43 p.m., a suspect walked up to a white 2018 Chevy Traverse in the parking lot of the Post Office located in the area of Harper near I-94.

The suspect then took an object, threw it at the front passenger side window and broke the glass. He proceeded to pour an accelerant inside of the vehicle and set it on fire.

The suspect is described as a heavy set male. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath, and blue jeans. Six vehicles were damaged and four vehicles were burned as a result of this incident.
