Belle Isle Aquarium is celebrating 120 years this Sunday, Aug. 18.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy family-friendly activities like bounce houses, water conservation-themed story time, interactive crafts. They will have free food, plus music from Detroit DJ Drummer B.
Belle Isle Aquarium is the oldest in the country, dating back to 1904. Explore 50 tanks showcasing marine life, from freshwater piranhas to a giant Pacific octopus.
Belle Isle Aquarium is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday- Sunday.
