$150,000 reward for suspect who armed robbed Detroit postal worker

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects connected to the robbery of a (USPS) letter carrier.

The incident took place at around 3:25 p.m., on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in front of 8274 Artesian, near Joy and Southfield.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’9”, late 20s, dark skin, slim to medium build, with short dreadlocks in his hair.

The suspect was wearing black clothing and holding a black handgun. The suspect had a white shirt around his face. The driver is described as a male with an afro.

After committing the robbery, the suspects fled north on Artesian and made a right turn onto Constance in a black Hyundai four-door sedan, with no license plate and a dirty exterior.

“The U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the law enforcement arm of the U.S. Postal Service, is actively investigating the armed robbery of a USPS Letter. To protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation, we cannot provide additional details beyond what is on our published reward poster.
