5 people were injured following a crash involving a Detroit EMS rig.
The crash happened on W. Chicago near Wyoming at around 10:00 a.m. Sunday.
EMS was responding to a run when they were T-boned, causing the rig to flip to its side.
A firefighter and 2 EMS members were inside the ambulance. The EMS tech in the back of the rig suffered serious injuries. 2 civilians were also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. This is the second crash involving an EMS rig in less than a week. Stay with @metrodetroitnews
