Detroit Grand Prix happening this weekend

🏎️The Detroit Grand Prix will return to the Streets of Downtown Detroit starting today.

Comerica Free Prix Day will be offering fans an opportunity to enjoy the racing festival for FREE today. The racing will be going on all weekend.

A new Cadillac Square Entertainment Stage will be located adjacent to Campus Martius Park at the 2024 Grand Prix. The entertainment stage is part of the event’s new activation area down Woodward Avenue, just north of the racing circuit along Jefferson Avenue.

After the Saturday racing action concludes on the Grand Prix track, the new Cadillac Square Entertainment Stage will host back-to-back free concerts.

The area will be open and accessible to fans for free throughout the May 31-June 2 Grand Prix weekend and visitors will be able to watch all the non-stop racing action on track each day on the large video boards in Cadillac Square.

Beyond the racing, fans can also enjoy a variety of entertainment options. The Riverwalk will be open for visitors to explore, while interactive games, food, live music and other attractions will be available at Hart Plaza, Jefferson Avenue, and Woodward Avenue leading to Campus Martius Park and Cadillac Square. The Meijer Fan Zone, located around the fountain at the lower level of Hart Plaza, will offer a wide array activities for fans of all ages.
