A Detroit police officer was charged after prosecutors say he threatened to tase his 10-year-old nephew.
Caleb Williams, 21, was charged with Child Abuse Second Degree and Felonious Assault of his young nephew.
On April 17, 2024, at a home on East Outer Drive in Detroit, it is alleged that the officer threatened and frightened his 10-year-old nephew by arcing his department-issued taser while standing in close proximity to the child, prosecutors say.
Williams was arraigned this afternoon in 36th District Court and received a $10,000 personal bond.
