8-year-old playing with gun accidentally shoots himself

An 8-year-old boy is in critical condition after accidentally shooting himself with an unsecured gun.

The incident happened Friday afternoon at Cove on 10 Apartment Complex in the area of 10 Mile and Hoover in Warren.

An 8-year-old was able to get an unsecured gun and shot himself in the face. The child was rushed to the hospital and listed in critical condition.
