80-year-old Detroit police officer is the longest serving member and has been on the job for 56 years

Meet 80-year-old Officer Tilman Blair, the longest-serving sworn member of the Detroit Police Department.

Corporal Blair joined the force in 1967- making it 56 years of him serving his community.

Corporal Blair works the traffic safety unit and helps coordinate school crossing guards. Blair is now a great-grandfather and says he has no plans on retiring anytime soon.
