A major accident has shut down Evergreen Road in both directions near Ann Arbor Trail in Dearborn Heights.
According to bystanders, a car traveling at an estimated speed of nearly 100 mph collided with three vehicles waiting at a red light.
The driver responsible for the crash is currently in critical condition.
Police are on the scene investigating the incident, and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
