A 15-year-old has died after fighting for his life after a shooting in a hotel room in Southfield.

The shooting happened Sunday at the Westin near Northwestern and Evergreen Road.

According to police, five unsupervised teens were inside the hotel room for a birthday party.

At some point, one teen pulled out a gun, and one shot was fired into the victim’s head. He was transported to a nearby hospital and listed in grave condition. The circumstances are currently unknown.
