Extreme Wind Chills Expected to Reach -20 Degrees in Metro Detroit Area

Dangerously cold arctic air will settle across the region starting today and going into Wednesday.

Wind Chill Advisories are in effect with wind chills ranging from -5 to -20°

The National Weather Service is asking people to limit time spent outdoors to avoid frostbite and hypothermia.
