A 9-year-old was killed after being struck by a speeding Dodge Charger while riding his 4 wheeler on Detroit’s east side.
The incident happened Saturday afternoon in the block of Andover, which is in the area of 7 Mile Road & I-75.
Detroit Police Captain Kimberly Blackwell said the speeding Dodge Charger was speeding and traveling the wrong way of the street before striking the child.
Both the male driver and passenger are in custody after the community held the suspects down and stopped them from getting away.
