An 8-year-old girl was found safe after she drove her mother’s SUV to go shopping at Target, according to a police news release.
Police say the family reported the girl and her mother’s car missing around 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. The vehicle was later found in the parking lot of a Target store in Bainbridge, Ohio, where police discovered the child shopping inside, unharmed.
The trip from her home to Target was approximately 10 miles, according to a news release. Police say they are grateful she was not hurt.
