Detroit police are continuing their investigation in a shooting that left 3 people dead including a child.
5-year-old Caleb was shot and killed along with his 28-year-old mother Lashon Marshall and the mother’s 32-year-old boyfriend Aaron Benson on Detroit’s west side on Sunday.
According to Detroit school board member & relative of the mother Sherry Gay-Dagnogo, the little boy was shot twice in the face.
“The level of violence we are seeing today is unacceptable! My little cousin Caleb, 5 years old, was shot in the face twice and killed! We must do something and say something! GunViolenceMustEnd Please pray for his parents and grandparents,” Sherry Gay-Dagnogo said in a Facebook post.
Police say the suspect is still on the run and the shooting is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detroit Police.
