4 women have been charged after allegedly stealing from several metro Detroit stores.
On October 23, 2024, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Bloomfield Township Police Department was dispatched to Ulta Beauty at 2161 S. Telegraph Road for a Retail Fraud in progress. A witness reported that three female suspects were filling Ulta bags with Perfume and other merchandise, police said.
The suspects fled the store without paying and entered a Chrysler 200 with an Ohio registration plate driven by a fourth suspect.
Bloomfield Township Police Department officers located the vehicle and made a traffic stop. The driver of the car was identified as Dajuandolyn Ramey, 19. The three passengers were identified as Kahshyrah Winters, Ja’Mee Hoskins and Gloria Nelson, police said.
All four suspects were coming from Toledo, Ohio. Officers observed the Ulta bags and merchandise in the vehicle and subsequently placed all four suspects under arrest.
Merchandise from Bloomfield Township’s Ulta Beauty, TJ Maxx, and Bath & Body Works was recovered. Detectives also recovered merchandise from a Dick’s Sporting Goods outside of the Township.
Stolen merchandise recovered from the stores totaled over $3,200, police said in a news release. They all face retail theft charges.
