Detroit police are investigating after a toddler fell from an apartment building window on Wednesday.
The situation unfolded in the area of Kendall St near Livernois and W. Davison.
The 3-year-old fell from the top floor on the three-story apartment complex.
The toddler was discovered in the alley by an individual who called police.
The toddler was transported to the hospital and is expect to survive.
It is unclear if the child was alone or with a parent/guardian.
