Detroit police are investigating after a shooting at Eastern Market left three people injured Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened at Al’s Fresh Fish Market on Russell Street near Wilkins.
Investigators say a revolver accidentally discharged inside the business, sending one bullet through an employee’s hand before continuing through a door and striking two customers.
All three victims were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are considered non life-threatening, according to police.
The employee who was injured claimed he had found the revolver and was handling it when it accidentally went off.
