3 charged after allegedly being involved in multiple car thefts across metro Detroit

Three men were charged after allegedly being involved with multiple car thefts across metro Detroit.

The men were located and arrested in Allen Park while in possession of a stolen motor vehicle from Northville Township. Two handguns were also seized, police said.

All three subjects were arraigned and given a $50,000 cash bond with a tether.

Brandon Blackshire, age 21 is charged with:

• One Count of Receiving and Concealing – Motor Vehicle

• One Count of Assaulting/Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer

• Habitual Offender – Fourth Offense Notice

Demetrius Winkfield, age 21 is charged with:

• One Count of Receiving and Concealing – Motor Vehicle

• One Count of Assaulting/Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer

• One Count of Weapons – Carry Concealed

• One Count of Firearms – Felon in Possession

• One Count of Ammunition – Felon in Possession

• Three Counts of Weapons – Felony Firearm

• Habitual Offender – Third Offense Notice

Dawayne Crutchfield, age 20 is charged with:

• One Count of Motor Vehicle – Unlawful Driving Away

• One Count of Receiving and Concealing – Motor Vehicle
