25-year-old Detroit man charged after being caught with 12-year-old

A 25-year-old Detroit man has been charged after he was allegedly caught with a 12-year-old outside a school.

Joshua Charston Brown-Hill, has been charged with three counts of 1st Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, stemming from incidents alleged to have occurred between June 1 and August 15, 2024.

The charges were filed after a West Bloomfield Township police officer discovered Brown-Hill with a 12-year-old girl in a vehicle outside a former elementary school on August 15, 2024.

Prosecutors allege Brown-Hill was aware of the victim’s age and had a sexual relationship with her.

Brown-Hill was arraigned on Friday, August 16, before Magistrate Julie Nelson-Klein. His bond was set at $3 million, with no option for 10%. He is currently being held in the Oakland County Jail.
