The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy will host the grand opening of the new 22-acre Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park on Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 25–26, 2025. The free two-day event will also serve as this year’s Detroit Harvest Fest, with live entertainment, food trucks, and family activities along the Detroit Riverfront.
The opening ceremony begins Saturday at 10 a.m. Festivities run Sat. until 8 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
Inside the park
- William Davidson Sport House: two full basketball courts.
- Delta Dental Play Garden: five acres of play with giant animal sculptures & the 23-ft Bernstein Bear Slide.
- Huron-Clinton Metroparks Water Garden: 2.5 acres of wetlands & walkways.
