Detroit police are investigating a crash that left a woman dead.
At around 5:55 p.m. Thursday, police say the crash occurred at the intersection of Schoenherr and East 8 Mile Road.
According to authorities, two males inside a Jeep Grand Cherokee struck an adult female who was driving a Lexus.
The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two males fled immediately after the crash but were located and detained.
They are now being transported to the hospital for evaluation.
Investigators remain on scene as the cause of the crash is under investigation.
