Two people were shot Wednesday afternoon in Inkster on John Daly Street, near Michigan Ave.
Officers responded to the area following reports of a shooting. Police say approximately six male individuals were gathered in the area when unknown suspects began firing at them.
The group took cover and moved to a nearby location, where officers made contact and called for EMS. Two individuals were injured and transported for treatment. Both victims are expected to recover.
At this time, no suspects have been identified. The Inkster Police Department is actively investigating and following leads.
