2 women were found shot to death in a home in Warren Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at approximately 10:40 am in the 24000 block of Joanne Smith Drive, in the area of Mound & 10 Mile.
Dispatch received a report of two females shot at the residence. Officers arrived on scene and located two elderly females shot at the residence. Both females, who were in their 70s, were pronounced dead on scene.
One of the elderly females was confirmed to be the homeowner. Investigators are on scene gathering evidence and working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.
This is an ongoing and active investigation. Police have not released suspect details or if one is being sought.
