A Detroit police Swat sergeant & training instructor is dead after he shot two other cops on Monday.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m on Davison street near Dequindre.
Sources confirm to MDN that the shooter was an active duty police sergeant who worked in the special response team. Police responded to the area after he called 911 and made suicidal comments and also said the “department didn’t care about him,” and “had no compassion.”
The two officers were rushed to the hospital and are expected to be OK. The shooter was pronounced dead on scene. Stay with @metrodetroitnews for updates on this news story.
