2 people are dead after a wrong-way crash on Lodge Freeway Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened on NB M-10 South of Telegraph in Southfield.
According to Michigan State Police, a car was traveling on the wrong side of the Lodge freeway when they struck another car head-on. Police say both drivers have died as a result.
“Troopers from Metro North will continue to investigate this crash.” said F/Lt Mike Shaw said in a news statement. “Right now it has not been determined where the wrong way driver entered the freeway or if impairment was a factor. The investigation pends vehicle inspections and medical examiner reports.”
The crash remains under investigation by Michigan State Police. All NB lanes are closed at 10 Mile.
