Two people are dead, and two others, including a child, are injured following a shooting in Detroit on Friday evening.
The incident occurred on Patton Street, near Fenkell and Evergreen. According to police, two groups were involved in a shootout.
A 40-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man were pronounced dead at the scene. A 12-year-old child was injured, while a 38-year-old individual remains in critical condition.
Authorities confirmed that one person of interest is currently in custody. The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
