19-Year-Old Dearborn Teen Releases Children’s Book to Teach Kids Importance of Dental Care

A 19-year-old Dearborn teen is making her mark in the world of children’s literature. Leila Saad has just released her debut book, “Malik’s First Cavity,” a story inspired by her own family that aims to teach kids about the importance of dental health in a fun and engaging way.

In a gesture of generosity, all proceeds from the book will be donated to help those in need of dental care. The funds will sponsor dental procedures and provide hygiene products for those in the community who need them most.

Leila recently graduated from Divine Child High School and is currently attending the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where she is pursuing a career in dentistry. Her passion for oral health is evident in both her studies and her writing.
