17-year-old arrested after stealing from Lululemon from Detroit, attempting to flee on bus

A 17-year-old Detroit girl was arrested by Michigan State Troopers Friday afternoon at the Rosa Parks Bus Terminal after a retail theft at Lululemon store in downtown Detroit.

Troopers assigned to the Central Business District were notified of the theft and responded to reports that the suspect had fled the store. She was located at the nearby bus terminal, police said. Upon arrival, the officers observed the teen with and wearing the stolen merchandise.

As troopers approached the suspect, she attempted to flee the scene, but officers pursued and detained her. She was transported to the Michigan State Police Second District Headquarters for processing.

This incident remains under investigation.
