A 16-year-old suspect and a man in his 40s were both shot during a robbery attempt Wednesday night on Detroit’s east side.
Preliminary, the teen tried to rob the man near Nottingham Road, close to I-94 and Whittier Avenue. During the struggle for the gun, it went off, and both were shot.
Both were taken to the hospital and are listed in stable condition.
