15-Year-Old Fatally Shot During ‘Robbery Gone Bad,’ Police Say

A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot in what police are calling a “robbery gone bad.”

The shooting happened around midnight. Investigators say the teen tried to rob someone, but that person pulled out a gun-and shot him. He was pronounced dead.

The incident happened in the area of Mt. Elliott and E. Vernor Hwy. Sources tell us the teen was inside a stolen KIA at the time of the alleged armed robbery. Another person who was with the victim has been detained as the investigation continues.
