1001 Winter Wonders in downtown Detroit: step into the North Pole, meet Santa for free, & more

The magic of the North Pole is coming to life in the heart of Detroit at the 1001 Winter Wonders experience

Starting on November 14, visitors will be able to enjoy the journey along “candy cane lane,” past glowing igloos, and through a life-sized gingerbread house, ultimately meeting Santa Claus and his merry team of elves.

Santa will be available for free photos, on a first-come, first-served basis. You can even drop your Christmas wish list off.

In collaboration with UMAISE, 1001 Winter Wonders is introducing a sensory-friendly Santa experience designed for inclusivity. This experience incorporates sensory adaptations and offers a wheelchair-accessible layout, creating a welcoming space for individuals with sensory needs. Families interested in this option can pre-register for sessions. Click HERE.
