A 1-year-old girl has died after she was struck by a car Tuesday afternoon in Detroit.
The incident happened in the block of Snowden, near Lodge and Outer Drive.
Police say the child was struck by a car driven by a family member. She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police say the death is believed to be accidental but did not provide details on how it happened. The investigation continues. @metrodetroitnews
