Detroit police are investigating a fatal crash on the city’s east side.
Around 5:47 p.m. Tuesday, a Chevy Impala driven by an adult male lost control while traveling southbound on Gratiot near Hickory. The Impala crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Ford F-150 driven by another adult male. A third vehicle, a Nissan Rogue with two adults inside, was also struck.
The driver of the Impala was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the other vehicles were taken to the hospital in temporary serious condition.
