The shooting occurred around 5:00 p.m. at a Splash Pad on E Auburn Rd near John R, in the city of Rochester Hills.

According to the sheriff, nine people were shot, including a mother and her two kids. An 8-year-old boy was shot in the head, a 4-year-old boy was shot in the thigh, and a 39-year-old mother was shot and critically injured.
