PepsiCo will end its manufacturing plant operations in Detroit after more than eight decades in the city.
The move brings an end to production, transportation, and maintenance at the local plant, which employed hundreds of workers.
The company stated that its warehouse, delivery, fleet, sales, and field service teams will remain active at the location.
However, the manufacturing side of the business has come to a halt.
This development follows a pattern of recent closures by PepsiCo.
